LT: First opponent inside, on or off.
LG: First opponent inside, on or off.
C: First opponent away from playside on or off. If DT tries to follow RG, knock him back.
RG: Pull playside and look to kick out first opponent that shows outside of LT.
RT: Pull playside and look to lead up into the 3 hole. Attack first opponent who shows. Don't be afraid to help RG or LT if they seem to need it. Hustle on your pull, Bob is waiting for you to clear so he can block. If DT tries to follow RG, shove him down.
Abe (QB): Reverse step, let Bob clear, then handoff to Zack crossing your face to the 3 hole
Bob (FB): Crash first opponent head up to away of RG. Let RG and RT cross your face first. You don't have to drive block; it's o.k. to meet the opponent in the backfield. DO NOT let him pursue RG/RT down the line.
Chad (TB): Run Power route to the 6 hole. Attack any opponent who shows; you're a decoy but don't get lazy. On the play action variant you're going to run a fade route so set up that action now.
Zack (FL): Step towards 6 hole, pause to let Bob cross in front of you, then push back to the 3 hole with your left foot. Accept the handoff from Abe as you pass him and follow RT into the hole. Stay shallow initially to hold the DE outside and set up RG's kick out block. Then push up inside of that block and run to daylight. This play is called to the 3 hole but if defense overpursues the power and/or LT/LG collapse the defense down don't be afraid to bend it back inside towards the 1 hole. Our intended lane of attack is the yellow triangle on the diagram.
X (SE): Outside release, 9 pattern. Work hard to get upfield; if coverage doesn’t go with you we’ll come back to the play-action pass. Don't get lazy, we're looking for how the CB reacts to your route.
Y (TE): Inside release, work up to #2 pass support defender - usually a strong safety. Block him anyway he wants to go, but be aggressive. If he gets too aggressive at filling on run we’ll come back to sending you to the post on a play-action pass.

RT: Pull playside and look to lead up into the 3 hole. Attack first opponent who shows. Eyeball the playside OLB. If he tries to work upfield make sure he has to work around the RG and that he isn't a threat to the play. If he stays over the top, expect to have to attack him after you push up into the 3 hole. Don't be afraid to help RG or LT if they seem to need it. Hustle on your pull, Bob is waiting for you to clear so he can block. If DT tries to follow RG, shove him down.

Our intended lane of attack is the yellow triangle on the diagram. CP: Eyeball the playside OLB as you come back towards the hole. If he works upfield on the outside, try to run the play as narrowly as possible -- i.e. more towards the 1 hole than the 3 so you can get downfield around him. If he stays back and works over the top, follow the RT's block on him.
